Life is frequently viewed as a symbolical journey. There is no distinct direction or path we must follow, as it is impossible to dictate what the future holds. The choices we make are crucial, as they decide whether our future will have a good or a bad outcome. Once you set out on a journey down a specific path, you cannot go back. You can attempt to figure out your future, but the future is mysterious and unknown. You can only see so much down the path. Who knows what it may hold? The poem, â€Å"The Road Not Taken† by Robert Frost, relates to my life as I discover my passions with the help of my friends and as I look ahead to explore my future. First and foremost, â€Å"The Road Not Taken† relates heavily to my early life. For the longest time†¦show more content†¦One day when the chaos became too overwhelming, I took a trip with my dad to the beach. He brought his camera with him and proceeded to hand it to me to take his picture. That day, I found out what I wanted to do - and it changed my life. In addition, â€Å"The Road Not Taken† can relate to my life with my newfound passion for photography. I owe the discovery of this passion to my dad. In my dad’s earlier years, he was a photographer. More specifically, he was a freelance photographer, meaning he had no specific category of pictures that he stuck to. He photographed friends, family, buildings, animals, or anything that was photogenic. This also meant that he had every piece of photographic equipment you could ever think of - and it was all accessible to me, right at my fingertips. My dad gave me my very own camera two years ago, a major turning point in my life. Now, I carry around a camera everywhere I go. Over the summer, I took it upon myself to take pictures of friends. In return, they would take pictures of me that I could use to gain my photography popularity on Instagram. During this time, I took pictures at Ecor Rouge, Stonehenge, The Graffiti Bridge, and the Pensacola Lighthouse. Not only did these photoshoots build new and stronger relationships, but it pushed me to become more creative, resourceful, and to become a better photographer.
